Tour Options and Times

The Museum offers three options for touring Whitehall. There is never an additional fee for any of these tour options. Normally all three options will be available for visitors to choose from, but at least one option will be available to visitors at all times.

Docent-led tour (free)

Docent-led tours cover the first floor of Whitehall, and last approximately one hour.
Tours start on the front porch at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. (Tuesday through Saturday). On Sundays tours begin at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Museum makes every effort to ensure that a volunteer Docent will be available at the scheduled times. However, on rare occasions a volunteer Docent may not be available. On those occasions, visitors have the option to take an Audio Tour or to tour the Museum using a printed Self-Guide Brochure.

Audio Tour (free)

Visit the Audio Tour Attendant on the front porch to receive a complementary audio tour wand. Learn about the history of Whitehall and Henry Flagler by listening to descriptions of rooms, objects, and Gilded Age life narrated by the Education Director, Chief Curator, and Executive Director. Audio Tour wands are available in English, Spanish, and French. Tour wands are available on a first-come first-served basis. On rare occasions there may be a brief wait for an audio wand.

Printed Self-Guide Brochures (free)

Self-Guide Brochures are available in English, French, German and Spanish.
